How would your life be different if you dared yourself to move out of your comfort zone, tackled your fears and gave your self permission to live a more authentic version of whom you are?
Mmmm, imagine the joy, freedom, expansiveness, passion, aliveness, you would feel if you dared yourself to experience the life which is in your heart.

Resistance is futile, a waste of time and oftentimes painful.
Accept what is. We donβt need to like it or agree with it but we do need to accept that it exists.

See the beauty of all the goodness in your life. Feel it’s warmth in your belly. Hear it’s satiated sigh of release. Taste it’s nectar with each sweet thought. Surrender to your joy as it rises to the surface of your life.

This morning as I am walking alongΒ the shores of Lake Ontario, I come across a quarried boulder with RECONCILATION etched on its one side. A fallen white tissue positioned just so in front of it. As I sit on this boulder β¦ now my boulder β¦ observing the hypnotizingΒ ebb and flow of the lake β¦ reconciliation begins to whisper β¦ promising love, peace and joy β¦ slowly shape-shifting into a bridge of hope β¦ beckoningΒ toΒ cross overΒ to grace β¦Β rumblingΒ thoughts ofΒ reconciliation begin to rollΒ through myΒ mind β¦ crushingΒ illusions of fearΒ …Β soothingΒ anger β¦ commanding to stand down β¦ as I begin to loosen and relax … forgiveness purifiesΒ my guilt β¦ our guilt … my eyes mist, tears flow β¦ my heart breaks openΒ … hmm β¦ am I brave enough? Β I continueΒ on myΒ walk …Β seeking courage.

When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
~ Khalil Gibran
Peace is present right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see.
Every breath we take, every step we take, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity.
The question is whether or not we are in touch with it.
We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment.
Β ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy.
